Oh How Time Flies

Well well well...April 6th, 2010 huh? Hard to believe its been almost exactly 4 years since my last blog post.

Yikes. What can I say? Girl's been busy :) Busy doing what you ask?  Hmmm. Good Question!

...Well...there was baseball player Roger and basketball player Pe'Shon, Richard from the piano bar and Rico from the gym, Wally who broke my heart in Afghanistan, and Will who was apparently still married. There was boring John G. and twitching John S., and of course "too busy for anything other than a booty call" Mo (or should I say Jake - long story), and now hopefully *fingers crossed* I've had my last first kiss with an amazing guy named Quentin Ross Campbell. We've only been dating for three months (as of today actually), but there is just something different about him. (Yes, I'm blushing just typing this) Everyone used to tell me that when it happens you just know and you know right away, but of course I really didn't believe in that nonsense. But girls, its true...I definitely know. It's just easy, and perfectly imperfect, and very different than any other relationship I've had in the past (and I've had a lot!), and it just feels right.

As far as my career...I got a job with a realtor, and 2 years later I quit my job with the realtor. I got a job at a title company, and less than 1 year later I got laid off my job with the title company :( And after being on unemployment for a few months and thinking all aspects of my world were caving in, at the beginning of the year I got a new job as a Marketing Manager for a commercial real estate company and am loving every second of it...and of course I met Quentin, in pretty much the same week. So moral of the story = as they say, night is always darkest just before the dawn.

I bought my first little townhouse in Germantown and now am never at a loss for ways to spend my money or my time. I traded in my little red jetta for a new black jetta, and of course smashed in to a pole in a parking garage in pretty much the first week. Figures. Typical Robyn. (Parking Garage Pole - 1, Robyn - 0)

I've ran many marathons and triathlons and started getting onto weight lifting pretty seriously. That's opened the door for some modeling I've been doing with Under Armour and a couple top bikini and department stores :)

So, what can I say other than LIFE IS GOOD! I will try to start up with this again as much as possible, but I cant make any promises ;)

Quote of the Day: "Change is constant. How we experience change that's up to us. It can feel like death or it can feel like a second chance at life. If we open our fingers, loosen our grips, go with it, it can feel like pure adrenaline. Like at any moment we can have another chance at life. Like at any moment, we can be born all over again."
