Self Control Would Be Nice

So I walk into CVS yesterday to buy God-knows-what...hairspray, makeup, toilet paper, bifocals, adult diapers...whatever I see that I think one day I might possibly need. By now I really should have bought stock in that store. I swear I can't even step foot in the place without spending at least 50 bucks. "Congratulations, you just earned $1.50 in Extra Care Bucks." Whoop-di-doo-da I just spend $200 bucks >:O

But anyways, on my way up to the front to check out I happen to see the "holiday isle". Heck yeah! You know, the 75% off, we're-basically-giving-the-stuff -way isle... And what to my wandering eyes should appear but a bag of Reeses Cups. Perfectly good Resees Cups that just happen to be 75% off because they were in a red and green holiday bag.

Well I'll be darn... Its my lucky day :)

I'm gonna be honest, I don't normally buy chocolate...actually never. I'm more of the sugar type. Starbursts, airheads, sour patch kids...you know...the good stuff. But I thought what the heck, my momma didn't raise a fool. For like 50 cents it would be a crime not to buy at least one bag of Reeses Cups to nibble on every now and then when I get the urge for some chocolate.

But unfortunately if I got the urge for some chocolate today I'd pretty much be out of luck because I ATE THE WHOLE DARN BAG on the way home yesterday. UGHHH! Okay not literally the entire bag, but lets just say pretty darn close.

So this goes out as a simple warning to you all. Don't do it! Don't be suckered into buying holiday candy just because its cheap. Because if you are anything like me you will also be suckered into eating it...ALL!

Walk on the Wild Side

So I just bought the most AMAZING dress...the cut is absolutely perfect for my body. Super sexy yet still classy, shows off all my right curves... I absolutely adore it.

But the catch is.. it's leopard print. Of course when I put it on I was totally sold by how amazing it fit but then on the car ride home, the more I got to thinking about it, the more I doubted it. Do you ever do that?

Is animal print in style? Is the print too much? Will people think I look ridiculous?

So crazy me starts researching on the Internet to find out what the consensus is on animal print these days and well, the more I got to researching the more I found that animal print is totally in this season and I really have nothing to worry about.

Its all over the runways and the celebs totally are wearing it out.

So...what do you guys think about animal print? Is it a fashion do or don't? Be honest.

I Hate Boys...But I Love Shoes!

No matter how bad I'm feeling...tired, lonely, sick, stressed out...there is one thing that can always make me smile. Although sleep, medicine, or a hug from Tyson Beckford might help, nothing quite does the trick for me like a new pair of SHOES!

Ahhh...I love shoes! Pumps, peep toes, wedges, strappy, pointy, ...You name it, I love them all. But what I don't love is the hefty price tag that usually comes along with that one pair (or more like twelve pairs) that I seem to just "have to have".

Yeah I'll admit it, I'm cheap. I love having all the nicest things, but only if those nice things come with a price tag that I agree with....which unfortunately usually never happens when I go shopping here in DC.

But luckily for me my parents have a store near them that sells brand named stuff for next to nothing. And when I say next to nothing I really mean it. Just this weekend I got these $209 dollar pair of Union jeans for $1. Crazy, I know. It's called Gabriel Brothers. If you ever see one you should stop in. I can promise you it will be quite the experience. Some people hate it because it takes effort (or what I like to call talent) to find good stuff, but I'm totally in love with the place. Every time I go home my fam already knows they have to schedule our plans around my extensive trip to Gabes.

Here are some of my latest finds in the shoe department...all Ann Taylor, all in size midget (aka size 5), all $12.99 each. Yeah, you read right...twelve dollars and ninety nine cents. Go ahead haters, hate on ;)
